Life – perception in a set of situations, circumstances – grows on us and when we get conditioned, we don’t even come to know. We believe in our own story and everybody else’s story seems shallow. And in this terming, everybody else’s story as shallow, we ourselves turn shallower and shallower.
And the more shallow we become, the more refined we become in the eyes of society. The false sense of aggrandizement becomes our reality. We lose ourselves in our ambitions, our social service and our achievements. And by the time, we realise this, it is often too late. Nothing can be done.
The life goes on…… But does it? Everything happening has already happened a million of times since eternity. Every feeling, every emotion, every torture, every love, every hatred – has been lived by so many individuals before our time came. But it seems new. It seems as if nobody has loved the way we have loved or nobody has suffered the way we have suffered. Because, we get born with a clean slate and whatever is written on that becomes the ONLY reality for us. If it was not like that, there would have been lesser fights in this world. There would have been more love and peace in this world. But it has always been like that. It seems that things are changing, but nothing changes. The emotions of hurt, jealousy, anger last longer than that of love, compassion and generosity. And the world goes on like that. New teachings, new systems, new methods – all fail. They are destined to fail, because nobody questions.
We do not go deep in our thoughts. Why we think, the way we think? Why social acceptance is essential, why ambition is not frowned upon, why we are extremely violent despite worshipping animals and eating vegetables, why we are jealous of others?????????????????
So many whys – so many, no answers! Why the life seems bottomless? Why we get happy and sad? Why do we exist?
Friends, family, relatives – what do they mean in the long run? Why we don’t want the world to be happy? Why are we so insensitive towards people whom we don’t know? Is knowing everything? If I do not know anything, does it not, still exist? Then, why we insist for the things, we know. Why is unknown scary? Will I lose myself in the unknown or will the unknown mould me in something which I am afraid of becoming, as I feel comfortable in what I know?
But how much do I know? Hardly anything.
So, what do I do? Maybe, nothing. Sit idle and wait till the riddle takes care of itself.

Faith
Faith runs the world. We would perish if we lost faith. Faith, with its diverse shapes, sizes and colours has got all of us under its wrap. We all have faith in something or somebody, who takes care of us in our hours of need. Someone, who is more powerful than us and who protects us. Even Jesus Said - "Faith, as small as a mustard seed, can move mountains." But for that, we have to prove ourselves worthy of their protection, otherwise we are damned. So, a set of rules have been identified by society, as what is right and what is not. We have to follow those rules otherwise there is a possibility of us being abandoned by the powerful protector.
Alone, we are afraid. After all it is a matter of survival. How do we survive, if we are not strong? And since individually, we are not strong, let us be strong collectively. Then nobody can take us for granted. And hence we make groups, and the most common and accepted ones are the religious groups. The world is full of these religious groups – Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists etc. They all have their Gods or Goddesses. Then, we have Avtaars or Living Gurus, who also have a large fan following with undying faith in them. In the universe, there are scores of places, which have super natural powers to pull people out of problems, if the people just visit these places. There are enough examples to demonstrate that these are not man made stories. The prayer is answered, the problems indeed solved.
But when we believe in One and ask the Other, we don't get what we want. The reward comes only when you feel that the object of your prayers is going to help you in all circumstances. Does it mean that the Super Power will help only those who pray it? It seems doubtful. Also, we have been taught by all the religions that God or Goddess is omnipresent, omnipotent and is the root of all creation. In that case, will that Power leave somebody abandoned, just because it has not prayed to them. In that case, is not God behaving just like ordinary mortals?
But, why do we pray? Why do we have faith in external forces? Is it that we desire more than what we deserve and hence need some extra support to fulfill all our desires? Or is the world an unjust place? But, if all prayers and all faiths start materializing what will happen to this world? Do we have the answers? Let us try to uncover the mystery.
It all starts with our perception that individuals are not strong enough to create their own reality and hence they are at the mercy of someone superior to pull them out of trouble, if they happen to fall into it. The number of religious places and travelers all over the world are a proof that, people feel that faith in some external super power and their blessing, is essential to commence and to complete any difficult assignment in their life.
So, the question is – Can I pray sitting in my house and still get a positive response, in the sense of realizing my dreams or ambitions? Or further, Can I just think and create my reality? Sounds high sounding? Of Course!
Now, let us go back to the Christ's teaching. He asks us to have faith. Faith - in what ? As per normal accepted practice, faith in Jesus Christ. But a Muslim has faith in Allah, and he also gets what he wants. A Hindu gets what he wants with his faith in his God or Goddess. Does it mean that, we all have to have a channel before we can realize our reality? Whether that channel is a God or Guru of a particular religion is immaterial. But actually, what happens when we pray? Is it like an unwritten application to your Boss, which He approves depending upon what is possible and what is not ? Or does something more subtle happen?
We know we are energy in condensed form as we are made of molecules, our thoughts are energy. So, when we think or pray, we are emitting energy. The stronger and the more consistent the energy, the more it affects other cluster of energies. And since this universe is a cluster of energy, it gets affected the way, we have directed our energy and we realize our destiny or reality. But, since our birth, we have been experiencing our limitations, and hence it never comes to our mind that we are capable of creating our own reality. So, we bring God in between. Yes, God is powerful! He can do it, if he wants. He can do anything, but we can't. So, that is how the prayers came into light. The conditioning of our society, that has always restricted our capacity to perform, is the root cause of birth of our prayers.
So, where do we go from here? We have the choice either to consider our restrictions as real and keep on praying to our Gods, whenever we are in trouble or we can create our own reality.
But how can we create our own reality? We can, if we understand the working of the universe. As per Einstein, Mass and energy can not be created or destroyed. They only change form. So nothing has ever been created and nothing destroyed. Everything just has been changing forms. That's all. So, we are a mixture of mass and energy and so is everything else in this universe.
Now, let us see the other side of the story. We all believe in something supernatural, whether we call it Christ, Allah etc or Energy, Consciousness etc. The oldest religions have also told that a part of God resides inside everything, whether it is alive or dead, including each of us. That part of energy or God or consciousness is the one, who has the power to create its own reality, if we listen to it and believe in it. Negating its existence is like negating reality itself, as we know that we are beyond our body and mind.
When we feel its presence in our existence, we get the power to create our own reality, as then, we are not afraid of anything. Once the fear is gone from our life, nothing can restrict us. The task is to feel connected with the source, and that is the original sin, (the) Bible talks about - Our forgetfulness of this simple fact that we are connected to our source all the time.
So, when we know for sure our connectedness, we simply sit in a room and desire. The energy of the desire converts the desire into reality, if that desire was for joy and betterment of everybody. Selfish desires harming others don't get into reality even if you pray with full sincerity in front of your God. The energy of your desire displaces the other energy present in the universe to make room for that energy to manifest in the physical form and thus, you create your own reality. It becomes like praying to your own higher self and getting the desired result.
